Sharing the Story Massage Programme in Zambia

Pupils at St Mulumba Special School in Choma, Zambia, enjoyed sharing the Story Massage Programme as part of the FRT Global Project. Lorraine Senior, founder of Functional Reflex Therapy (FHT) is a trained Story Massage Instructor and loves to introduce massage stories as part of positive touch activities.

“The main aim of the FRT Global Project is to share skills and teach The Functional Reflex Therapy Rainbow Programme for the classroom,” says Lorraine, “But over the years we have been developing new ideas and ways we can help bring joy and relaxation to the schools we visit.”

This year Lorraine included an introduction to the Story Massage Programme which works alongside the FRT Rainbow Programme to bring communication, kindness and fun into the classroom through positive touch. “It was a busy time as the school with national exams in full flow,” says Lorraine, “but the smiles on the faces of the pupils show how much they benefitted.”
